Our Story

Well this ones pretty long, if you don't read it, I don't blame you. If you do want to know about how we started though and some background, its a good read!
ExWorks was never intended to be a brand.
Yep, that's right. Everything you see now was not supposed to be here.
Let me provide some backstory..
Our first ever product was the V1 version of the Talaria XXX motor cover. And before you ask; yes, we invented them. We all know the X3 is a budget version of the Surron LBX, and most X3 riders would trade in their bike for a light bee in a heartbeat. I was one of those riders.
Back a long time ago when the X3 was still decently new and had almost no aftermarket, most of them were stock. And I was still obsessing over the small bits that light bees and talaria sting models had. Peg brackets, carbon bits, motor covers.. you get the deal.
One of the main aftermarket parts I loved about the light bee were the belt covers. All kinds of designs out there, and just a small simple part that could tie a whole build together. Now as X3 riders know, there's no dedicated belt cover mount like the LBX has, so if you wanted one, you had to zip tie one. Sure from a distance it looked alright, but as a rider the feeling sucks knowing you got something hoagie going on. I decided to fix that. I started by looking at the actual motor itself and looking for a bolt on way to do it. Now you might say "that's easy just use the two metal clips designed for the plastic cover", and unfortunately (or fortunately) for me, I had stripped my bike to the frame and completely forgot those existed after I took em off. So had to develop a new option.
A bit later following some fitment testing I had it. A good bolt on motor cover design. If I'm being real with you guys, it was straight garbage. Plastic, 3D printed, thin, weak, all the bad stuff. But I posted it anyways, and got nothing but positive reactions. I originally just made this for myself and a few friends. I just wanted a cool extra part to tie my build together. Until one of my friends told me I should try selling them. I realized it already had amazing reactions and everyone loved em, and figured if I set up a website I could actually make a good buck off this.
Fast forward to drop date, I made more than a good buck off them, quickly making me realize how much potential was behind this and that I actually had something REAL going here. Until all of the weak thin motor covers I sent out had snapped during shipping (or snapped during installation, or within the first hour of riding if it somehow got that far).
As someone with morals (unlike most other brand owners! #nottargeted) I didn't want to scam people, so I told them to hold off for a sec while I perfected the design to not snap over a strong gust of air. This is the same design that you all know of today and is still in use.
People were happy with it, and seeing people using something that I created made me happy as well, which is the reason I continued innovating and selling more and more parts.
Fast forward now, we have grown much larger, and have thousands of riders worldwide repping ExW. As a longtime rider myself that actually cares about the community, I have made ExW committed towards providing you with the best parts, customer service, and riding experience.
Seeing people love the parts we created, that's what keeps us going.
And we're just getting started.
